We will look to you to promote our CHIEF core values of compassion, humility, integrity, excellence and fun. The Life Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for planning activities based on our residents’ interests, needs and abilities to enhance their quality of life. 




  • Prepare and post a customized monthly newsletter and calendar of Life Enrichment programs and events in a timely manner
  • Work with the Executive Director and Sales and Marketing to distribute the calendar to residents, families, volunteers, leads and appropriate referral sources
  • Participate in new resident welcome program and obtain background and interests of each new resident through formal interview and assessment
  • Encourage resident and family involvement in planning the monthly calendar of events and participating in scheduled activities
  • Support special interests, clubs and hobbies of residents and provide materials for independent activities
  • Train, support, coach and supervise assistant/s as needed
  • Ensure staff assistance/participation with daily group programs
  • Recruit, train and support an active volunteer program
  • Manage expenditures within budget allocations
  • Schedule and support resident transportation schedule and social outings
  • Participate in community management meetings
  • Additional duties as assigned 



Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year senior living, hospice, in-home health care, or skilled nursing experience in a therapeutic recreation and / or senior activities role
  • Must have a driver’s license
  • Will need to have exceptional problem-solving and time management skills
  • The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time and work overtime as needed
  • The ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
